This hat was made for fantasy author Catherynne M Valente to wear for her new book tour "Palimpsest".
The tricorn is dark green velvet with green satin and black moire satin trim. The side of the hat has three gold stars for the rank of General and the cockade is a gorgeous old fashioned green satin hand made bow with green, brown and gold feathers. The hat is held on using the beautiful black lace attached side veils. |
